AbbyDay - The First Graze of the Year

It's AbbyDay - written by the best goat on the Earth.

Oh it was glorious.
Oh it was wonderful.
Oh it was ABOUT TIME!

What you ask?

Freedom.
It was about time I got to run free like AbbyGoat should.
Woo hoo!

I will admaaa-it that there was not much grass to nibble but it was just nice to be out and about.
Hey, what is that?

I wonder if it would taste good?
The publicist is yelling at me.
She says I am not allowed to eat her "book."

What is this "book" thing and why can't I eat it?
EVERYTHING is for AbbyGoat.

She has something else for me.
She says it is better.
She is right!

I like these things called almonds.
I want MORE.
What do you mean there are no more?
What do you mean go and graze?
Pfffft!

What, something else new?
What a day!
This is my first time sniffing Alex.
He is A-OK.
But he would be - he is MY grandkid!

It was a nice day to be out.
I got to taste something new.
The sun was shining

We all enjoyed ourselves - EXCUSE ME?!
GO SNIFF YOUR KID OR SOMETHING!
SHEESH!
I'm going to have to ask Katie for advice on this problem!

I'm going to go back to my pen.
I've had enough of this rudeness!
WHAT? What do you want publicist?
I've had it!

Oh, one more almond?
Why yes, I would like it!
Thank you!

I hope you all have a delightful AbbyDay.

  1. Abby, my human loves almonds almost as much as you do! Personally, I don't see the appeal.

  3. AbbyGoat, What a delightful report on your first day out and about! It sure looks different there than it did even a few days days ago! It must be good to get outside and investigate everything. I hope the publicist has laid in a nice stock of ALMONDS for you XOXOXO

  5. Abby- Almonds are like gold treats, so don't expect them like Christmas trees and broccoli leaves, eh? But I'm glad you got to try them.

  8. Abbygoat you are looking maaaar-vel-ous considering how much you have been closed up in barn or your goat-condo this winter. Isn't it great to see more grass than snow on the ground & the sun is out - what more could a goat ask for?. Soon there will be all kinds of tasty grass & weeds to nom on. I am so sorry to see Thelma being so rude as to sniff your derriere & right in plain view of the Publicist's camera. Never mind, Thelma is probably wondering why you smell as lovely as one of the Publicists fragrant goat milk soaps and she does not. The answer is pretty obvious - because you are Abbygoat and you are the best smelling goat on Earth!

  9. We wouldn't have thought you'd like almonds Abby but since the publicist wouldn't let you eat her book, it's a good thing she had something else for you!

  10. Whoa! Goats sniff butt too? I’m learning so much hanging with you, AbbyGoat. What are these almond things you speak of?

Thanks your Publicist for me and TW. She reallu=y loked the soap. In fact, she wanted to try the orange creamsicle cos that’s one of her fave flavs of ice cream. You don’t think she’d try to eat the soap, do you?

  11. In that whole wide world of fun things to smell and eat, you find the book. Go figure! I'm glad you didn't it!
