Wordless Wednesday - Bighorn Sheep the Publicist Saw

  1. Well that is pretty interesting. They are all the same color with white butts. Also from what I can tell, they don't have tails at all. What fun to see them. Take care.

    They just this week released some Bighorn sheep in the mountains near here.

  4. wow - I don't think I've ever seen a picture of such a big herd out on the flats - their coats don't look very thick

  5. This is apparently a somewhat resident herd and they come down everyday and go back up the mountains at night - at least in the spring and fall. The field grows hay so it's got good eats. This is the first time though, that we have seen this many of them there.

  8. Glogirly and Gloman LOVE bighorn sheep...in fact we have a huge photo of one on our living room wall. ..and a cute stuffed one on the kitchen.

    1. Ooooh, we see them rather frequently. In the winter they come to eat the salt off of the road. They don't live nearby but close enough.
