Exciting News!

I have exciting news!
It's true!
I would not lie. I am not that kind of goat.

My friend Millie's human has written a book.
That is, of course Millie and not her human.
Isn't she pretty?

The publicist is excited because she is going to read the book. It is called Consent. I told the publicist that I wanted to eat to read the book but she reminded me that I cannot read books and that any time I got near a book I took nibbles of the pages which made it very difficult for the publicist to follow the plot.

Why does the publicist want to read about a hole in the ground anyway?
And pages taste very, very good.
Buuuurrrrp!

Millie's human is giving away a copy of her book on her blog, Eden Hills's Blog. I am sure that if I did not eat books I would love to read this one. Here is what it is about:

In medieval England daughters meant dowries - land and money leaving the family. Richard is determined to have a male heir to keep the castle Havenhoerte in their family and forces his daughter, Emma, to marry at the age of consent, just twelve years old. This is the beginning of two families’ entanglement. Kidnapping, knights, battles, weddings and witchcraft spanning three generations follow. Sometimes the most dangerous enemy comes from within your own family. Can love and chivalry overcome evil?

Hmmm, I am twelve. Does that mean I have to get married?
If I could marry my studmuffin I would be all for it.
Oh. The publicist says I am too old to get married.
She says it is different for a goat.

HARUMPH!
I am going to have to maaaaa to her about this.
I think I should marry my studmuffin.
Don't you?

But I have gotten away from telling you about the book! You should go to Millie's human's blog and enter the giveaway! Even better you should buy Consent! I have heard that it is very tasty good.

Maybe I will write a book.
I am a clever goat.
Then I could eat as many as I wanted.
So THERE publicist. So there.

  1. Ugh. If getting married at 12 is the beginning of kidnapping, knights, battles, weddings, witchcraft spanning 3 generations, we don't think it's a good idea for YOU to get married...life is great as it is, right? ;)
