Congratulations to AbbyGoat!

AbbyGoat had her kids!
It's true!
Even though Thelma the goat was due first Abby had to win.

She went into labor on Saturday and the publicist and male person were checking on her all day.  Of course she did not have her kids in the daylight. She waited until it was dark.

And late.

They went into the barn and saw Abby with the tiniest little goat kid they had ever seen.
The publicist said there had to be more coming.
They waited and waited and waited and waited. Over an hour!
It seemed like Abby was going to have one tiny little kid.

And then it started.
More contractions.
Out slid another kid.

And then....out slid ANOTHER kid!

That's right!
AbbyGoat had triplets!
It's true!
I would not lie!

They do not have names yet.
The publicist is ruminating on possibilities.

She let Abby bring them out into the sunshine today for a little walk about.

Aren't they cute?

The largest one (second born) looks rather like a Rorschach test. You can see how teeny, tiny his brother is next to him.

The last born looks a lot like the first one but is a bit bigger and has a little white curl on one side.

The first born is the biggest eater right now. He has also mastered the goat stare of death already!

You can really see how tiny he is when the male person is holding him.

He is a cutie pie!

They all enjoyed their time in the sun.

Testing out their legs by trying to run and jump.
It was very funny.

There will, of course be many more photos to come and more kids as soon as Thelma decides to kid!

I am a very proud Great Grandnanny!

  1. They are amazing Patty, err Abby!
Congrats on the fantastic delivery and gorgeous babies.
Now you need a naming contest....hehe.

  2. They are adorable! But then, how could they NOT be? They are baby goats! The farm is going to be hopping like mad over the next few weeks!

  3. They are cute kids indeed! Second born could be Arty (RT) as in Rorschach test. Those marking look like a goat looking back over her shoulder. But that may just be my own twisted mind.

Anyway, congrats on the beautiful babies.

  4. Oh my GOSH--they are soooo tiny!! And adorable.

I look forward to silly kid-jumping videos!

Congratulations to everyone--that is very exciting and happy news!

  5. Wow, three little boys. I figured she had to have something large, as big as Abby was. That is so exciting. The farm is going to be one hopping place for sure. That little one is so tiny. Good decision Abby to have them early. Take care.

  6. So cute! Abby must be happy to have regained her graceful figure.. no more oportunities for insulting photos to be taken by the publicist!

  7. oh no...they are soooo cute!!!! and all bucks!!! yikes!

  8. good job Abby!!!! those boys are adorable! mom wants to kiss that tiny one....

  9. oh, my! the little one is barely as big as one of the barn cats! glad all 3 are doing well! go, abbygoat, go!

  10. True to size comparison when the male person picked up that goat. WOW, he is tiny!!! And yes, they all are adorable. I like the Rorschach, He is pretty!

  11. There's nothing cuter in the whole world than baby goats!

  12. OH OH OH!!!!!

    That's gotta be a relief...congratulations!

  13. It is spring and babies are arriving on so many farms. Congratulation! Such sweet kids.

  14. Are they all boys?? They're adorable! SCREEEEE! Concats to Mama Abby on a job well done. Maybe if Thelma has a girl, she can name her after me. Heh heh! They'll get TW's goat.

  15. Abby's babies are so cute! Our mommy showed the photos on FB to our daddy because she just can't get enough of them! He still won't let her get a goat though.

  16. WTG Abby! 3 bundles of cuteness!

  17. TRIPLETS? OMG! The Human is getting all fainty from the cuteness! Conga-rats Mom, Grandma, and Humans alike!
