Breaking News: Happy Goats Farm

I have an announcement
And it is not a good one.
Nora the goat has lost her kid. Or she was never pregnant in the first place.
The publicist does not know and I tried maaaing at Nora.

But she is not answering.

She is too busy eating grain.

Lots and lots and lots of grain.

Maybe THAT is why she looked like she was going to have a kid.
As the publicist keeps saying, "you can't get a goat to pee on a stick."

Whatever that means....

  1. Oh dear. I hope Nora is healthy and happy and doesn't have any problems if she was expecting and then lost her baby. She looks glossy and happy!

  3. I have a goat that looks huge pregnant all the time. And I know for a fact she is not pregnant. I'm glad that is the case. When I first started reading the post I thought you had a kid to die. So I am happy now.

  6. Lily lost her baby this year. We're pretty sure she was bred, and the vet did an ultrasound that showed "fluid" but no baby. At least she's healthy. Maybe Nora and Lily will have kids next year...

  8. I choose to believe she has just been eating too much grain. The alternative is too sad.

  13. Can you get her to pee in a cup? That's such a funny visual... tee hee. Maybe Nora was feeling jealous of the other Mama's attention and wanted to be noticed. Very interesting...
