Do Goats Bark?

No, goats don't bark!
But we eat bark!

In fact we love's tasty!
I have told you this many a time.
But there is nothing cuter than seeing a goat get its first taste of bark.

The twins were over in the limb pile and they discovered how much fun it is to climb and eat all in the same place. Rather like a human's amusement park, yes?

Louise looks smaller than the pile! This makes for great climbing opportunities

Thelma was just hopping everywhere!

I think they both enjoyed the freedom. It's fun to be out of the pen!
I am sure they will enjoy more hopping and nibbling as time goes on.
I sure hope so because when they get to hop and nibble so do I!

  1. good thing i am not there! i would never get anything done. i would just watch you hopping all day long.

  2. They are colored almost just reverse of each other. so cute! Wish they would stay smaller longer. Amazing how fast they grow up.

  3. Those two sure do have goat heaven there with that pile of wood and branches. There isn't anything more tasty than some good bark. Our goat here taught the donkeys how to eat bark. We just love Thelma's face.

  4. So cute! That does look tasty. I must say, our Scarlet does a great imitation of a dog barking.

  5. We Cats are a little unsure about Goat diet. CC eats dries up do Goats feel about those? Cuz CC usually upchucks his a little while later.

  6. You goats and your bark! I don't get it, but then, you probably don't understand my fixation with roast chicken and fresh, juicy moths.

  7. Bark must be a goat delicacy! Thelma and Louise look like they are enjoying the wood pile and we enjoy seeing them!

  8. Hmmm, my Mommeh likes chocolate and almond bark, so bark must be good!

  9. It looks like they had an amazing time! They are getting so big.

Maaaaaa away....
