The Sun!

It came out today!
I was a very excited goat.
I knew I had hard work to do.

I went directly to my assigned location.

I got myself in position.

But I didn't like this way. I needed a change.
I would be here a while and I wanted to be comfortable.

There! Now I am ready for work.

What?!
Basking is VERY hard work.

Not everyone can bask like me.
I am a pro.

Oops.
Well, even pros get tired.

I hope you had a good day at work too.

  2. Yes, I thought you were laughing too. Laughing at all us poor schmucks who don't get to bask for a living!

  3. Yay! We're glad the sun came out for you! We think sunbeams have something in them that make us sleepy as well as happy.

  5. I know all that basking is hard work because my kitties do it and they get so exhausted! Hobbes and Grace can't stay awake when they are "working" either. :)

Enjoy the warm sun while it lasts, pally!

  8. See? Lin knows what you and I know, Pricilla - basking is some of the hardest work! It takes talent to make it look effortless.

  9. Basking certainly is very hard work. Hope you get some rest after all that basking. Peepers loves to bask too. She does it most of the day unless the Donkeys drag her off to eat grass.
Hope you have a super week end and get lots of basking in your schedule.

  10. Pricilla, you do such a great job at all your jobs I was wondering if you could find it in your big goat heart to spend one of the days the Publicist lets you use the computer to explain, maybe even with cool close-up pictures, why goats eyes look the way the do? Do they make you see things differently? I have never had a goat friend so do not know these things. Thank you.
