AbbyDay - A Big Announcement!

It's Friday so that means it's AbbyDay! I love AbbyDay. I have said it before and I will say it again - EVERY DAY SHOULD BE ABBYDAY! But Pricilla won't give up her blogging days and the publicist says I should be happy with one day and if I don't start behaving myself I will lose this day. Soooooo, on to today's post. I get to make a big announcement. Me, not Pricilla. So there Pricilla!

MALLORY THE GOAT IS PREGNANT!

Isn't that exciting?

She fooled us all. Esp
ecially the publicist. She thought her date with Michael the goat was all dancing and nothing else. Apparently the publicist was wrong because she was walking behind Mallory yesterday and noticed her udder dropping just like Jillian's. Then she started looking at Mallory and decided she looked decidedly.....round.

Of course she didn't h
ave her camera but she does have a photo of Jillian's udder so you can see what she's talking about. This udder development wasn't there a month ago. So new little kids will be on the Farm in the next month or so.

The publicist learned that Toggenburg does usually have single goats with their first pregnancies. I think this is good as I think there are enough goats here already. I am not getting as much attention as I used to and I DON'T LIKE IT!

Of course it wouldn't be AbbyDay if I didn't leave you with a photo of Me! Me enjoying my beet greens. Boy were they yummy. I had corn cobs today. Summer is so tasty.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow to see the Publicist's Field Trip.

  2. How exciting! I didn't know goats went on dates. There's some more "goatucation," I guess.

  14. Lin - Too many goats if you ask me. It should be Abby and AbbyKids. That's it!

JD - how else do you think goatlings happen? Osmosis?

Aunt Vicki - yes, you are right they are BOTH pregnant. Too many kids.

Daisy - I will tell Mallory what you said. I will. I WILL.

Carolyn - I am glad you are happy about it.

Melodie - that is what she calls herself. heh heh

blueviolet - it should just be all about me. Me, me, me!

Pooba - they did indeed. I hope they will be cute. It would be the only redeeming thing.

jaz - heh heh! That dancing can get a goat in trouble.

BeadedTail - I loves me some beet greens.

Split Rock - even I admit that baby goats are cute.

Reese - fun times on the Farm.

Statch - Michael is a good looking buck so I think the kids will be cute.

Cute - I heard the publicist muttering something about jumping in the river. I wonder why?

Margo - I asked the publicist your question and she started laughing hysterically and I don't think she has stopped.

Marlene - a doe would be very nice!

  15. There is something about that picture with the udder and the flower, but I haven't formed words about it yet.

    Nevertheless congrats are in order!

  16. Baby goats baby goats and MORE baby goats. That has to be a good thing.

Question: How long can the publicist milk you goats after the kids are weaned? Since you mom goats seem to be having kids spaced out-like, I am guessing she kind of needs you all to be lactating year round for soap production...
