The grass IS apparently greener on the other side of the fence.

  1. Haha-so cute. I see cows doing this along the roads all the time. The grass looks exactly the same....Thanks for the chuckle!

  4. I should post a photo of one of our llamas, Midnight Moonbeam, whose neck is rubbed raw from going through the fence here! He has always stuck his head through the fence and used to get it stuck until I went out to push it back through. You'd think he would have learned but apparently you're right... the grass IS greener on the other side of the fence....always!

  6. The grass is definitely tastier on the wrong side of the fence. And it doesn't even matter what side of the fence you are on.

  7. I agree with Anne, definitely tastier! Not that I'd know from experience or anything.

  8. It always pays to take a little nibble and find out (but only if you're a goat) ;)

  9. One of the most amazing sights I've ever seen was of over a hundred of my mom's Nubian milk goats sliding under a hogwire fence (a space of less than four inches) at full speed without touching the bottom wire. I know that they did not touch it because I was standing next to the fence at the time, and I would have at least heard it if they had of.

  10. Sue - the horses across the street do it too. I don't know what is wrong with us animals!

Carolyn - he is a good looking boy.

Sandy - thank you. I work hard. You can only imagine how tough it is to type with hooves.

Daisy - you are the sweetest cat! I'll bet you would stay on the inside.

Split Rock - I guess llamas are as silly as goats.

ella - thank you for visiting my blog. Goats are erm, interesting pets.

Anne - I think you are right but I am not sure the male person and publicist agree with you. They say we have cost them a fortune in fence.

Pooba - YOU HAVEN'T HAD ANY TASTY GRASS?! I am shocked.

blueviolet - I don't know...the Farm cats also nibble on the grass.

FishHawk - wow! that MUST have been amazing. That's a LOT of goats!

  14. Lin - I read about Hobbes' boundary issues. heh heh

jaz - I don't think curious begins to describe it.

Frogs - We are all on a mission. Eat, eat, eat and uhm, eat.
